Welcome to the Jay Deux book forum. This is my favourite book in Series One (although I shouldn't really have favourites). One of the reasons it's my favourite book is because it allowed me to combine some of the places in the world that influenced my life choices. Such as leafy Broad Oak and Prospect House where I grew up and decided that I would one day buy a house in the countryside with large leafy trees that would house wild birds and small animals. Have you got to the last Chapter yet? I started writing this book on Sunday 8pm and finished on Monday 1am and could not turn off the lights as the ending scared me lol...anyway SPOILER ALERT. Log out now if you do not want to know the ending. Those of you who have reached the end may feel all kinds of emotions about the closing. Colonel Dreyfus is described as a 'gentleman' to make you consider why Joy would phone Keaton instead of him. Is the gentleman the man at the beach that Joy completed the crossword and had cocktails with?YES that is the gentleman. Did Keaton and Joy have an affair?NO they have not had an affair.
