Welcome to the 1A Penn Road book forum.

This book is titled after the address of the emergency housing accommodation I was given at 15 years old when I was homeless. I loved every inch of my tiny studio flat in 1a Penn Road as I finally had my own space and freedom.

I liked each of the characters that resided in the accommodation but was most intrigued by a gentleman with white hair and a white beard. I tried to be his friend but he would just smile and keep to himself. The lady who lived downstairs (who everyone called 'Ma') said he used to be a composer but lost everything due to gambling and alcohol. This just made him even more intriguing to me. But alas, he would sit in the communal garden in 1a Penn Road, on the wooden bench on his own and ...didn't want to be my friend lol!

Anyway back to the book, by now you should have met all of the three main suspects at 1a Penn Road. But which one is the killer?
